WHAT'S ON THE ORDER SHEET

Promo Product Trends for 2027: What Buyers Will Order Next Year

Recycled fabric, name-brand drinkware, packable outerwear and small kits. Five trends for 2027, each tied to items you can order now and their listed prices.

This post has no market percentages. It has the catalog, the product listings and the prices, so you can check every claim yourself.

Here's the working definition. A promo trend is a product type that keeps getting ordered across seasons, not a color of the year. The five below pass that test today, and each one is a forecast built on what's in the catalog. Real prices on every product page.

Catalog prices leave out decoration setup and run charges. Those show up on your quote, and they change the math more than most buyers expect.

Recycled Material Will Be the First Question

We expect the first question on a lot of quotes to be about the material. It's easy to ask and easy to check, which is exactly why it's worth checking properly. Recycled claims come in layers: the fabric, a named certification, and sometimes the packaging. A spec line can tell you which layer you're getting. A badge usually can't.

Three recycled items that are live in the catalog right now:

  • Alpine rPET Sherpa Blanket. A throw in seven colors, made from recycled polyester sherpa fleece that its listing says comes largely from used plastic bottles. As low as $14.99/unit · min 25.
  • Renew Recycled rPET Packing Cube Set - AWARE™. Three nesting cubes in 210D rPET, PVC-free, with top grab handles. As low as $21.98/unit · min 25.
  • Recycled 5oz Cotton Twill Tote. The low-cost end of the category. As low as $1.98/unit · min 100.

Here's the part most buyers skip. Recycled fabric doesn't make the decoration recycled. Ask the decorator what ink or transfer they're using before you call the order a green program. That's a question with a real answer, and the answer belongs on the quote.

Certifications are where listings differ. The Clique Valhalla puffer's listing names GRS-certified recycled polyester and OEKO-TEX certification. The Stanley bottles list 18/8 recycled stainless steel. When a listing names a standard, quote the standard. When it doesn't, ask for the paperwork before it goes on a sales sheet.

Name-Brand Drinkware, Decorated Your Way

A name brand does half the convincing before the recipient touches it. Your job is to put one clean mark on it and get out of the way. Two bottles that are live in the catalog right now:

  • Stanley Quencher ProTour Tumbler 30oz. Its listing describes 18/8 recycled stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation, a flip straw lid and a removable spout. As low as $45.00/unit · min 24. On the listing, laser decoration is a $55 setup with an $0.80 run.
  • YETI® Rambler® 20 oz. Tumbler MagSlider™ Lid. Dishwasher safe, cupholder compatible and designed to resist dents, according to its listing. As low as $40.65/unit · min 6. The listing says it isn't available blank, so the decoration is part of the plan from day one.

Color is where the cost climbs. On the Stanley listing, color silkscreen is a $55 setup with an $0.80 run, and each additional color is $95. One-color logos are where this math is kindest, so count the colors in your logo before you ask for a quote. Each one after the first is a line item.

Name brands cost more per unit. The question is whether the recipient will still carry the bottle a year from now. If the answer is yes, the price line is easier to defend. If the bottle is going to a one-off event, pick the cheaper option and spend the difference on the follow-up.

Packable Outerwear Earns Its Spot in the Bag

A layer that folds into its own pocket goes on the commute, the flight and the job site. A jacket that lives on a hook goes nowhere. That's the forecast: packable beats bulky whenever the jacket has to travel with the person.

Three packable items to look at:

  • Men's RINCON Eco Packable Lightweight Jacket. Recycled polyester that resists wind and water, a roll-away hood, a mesh lining for airflow and a pouch it folds into. As low as $61.58/unit · min 12.
  • tentree Nimbus Rain Jacket - Men's. A waterproof shell with fully taped seams, with the outer shell listed as 100% recycled polyester. As low as $94.00/unit · min 12.
  • Men's TELLURIDE Packable Insulated Jacket. Lightweight insulation, a water-repellent finish and a built-in pouch, with sizes from S through 5XL. As low as $63.25/unit · min 12.

Packable jackets live or die on the pouch. Check whether it's attached, and how small the jacket gets once it's stuffed. A recipient who can't fold it back into the pouch will leave it on a chair.

Tech Accessories Small Enough to Stay on the Desk

Charging gear works when it's small enough to leave out. The desk and the bag are where people reach every day, so that's where a logo gets seen. Three items:

  • Wireless Phone Charging Pad 2.0. Qi charging with a 15W output and a Type-C input. As low as $10.39/unit · min 50. The listing warns that some laptop and computer USB ports may not supply enough power, so plan for a wall outlet on the desk.
  • MagSafe Compatible 4000 mAh Magnetic Power Bank. Works with any Qi-enabled device, not just MagSafe phones, per its listing, and it includes a USB-C cable. As low as $18.90/unit · min 25. Imprinted decoration is listed at a $90 setup with a $0.60 run.
  • The Slim Wireless Power Bank. Pocket-sized, with full edge-to-edge printing on the back. As low as $21.25/unit · min 1. The listing gives two capacities and two wireless outputs, so confirm the specs on your quote before anyone writes them on a box.

Do the math on the desk pad before you fall for it. Fifty pads at $10.39 comes to $519.50 before setup. The decoration setup goes on top of that, and the total is the number that belongs in the budget, not the unit price.

Power banks get picked for looks as much as capacity. Ask for the proof on that exact model, because a mark on a rounded surface doesn't sit the way it does on a flat plate.

Small Kits, Retro Looks and Wellness Items

A kit does half the gift's job. The box, the sleeve and the way things are packed carry the brand, so the items inside can stay simple. Three kit types the catalog supports right now:

  • Corporate kits. Manhattan II Gift Set w/ Magnetic Journal & Recycled Pen. A soft-touch 5x7 journal with 80 cream-colored lined pages and a built-in bookmark, plus a recycled aluminum pen, all in a gift box. As low as $11.99/unit · min 50. It suits a new-hire welcome.
  • Retro. The Retro Lunchbox & 20 Oz. Stainless Steel Tumbler is a retro metal lunchbox with a vacuum-insulated tumbler in a PVC insert. As low as $28.44/unit · min 24. The Retro Lunch Box on its own is as low as $11.32/unit · min 24, for a lower-cost version of the look.
  • Wellness. The Restore 6mm Yoga Mat is 6mm TPE with a textured grip on one side and an elastic band to keep it rolled. As low as $29.98/unit · min 20. Laser engraving is listed at a $70 setup with no run charge.

A kit's value sits in the packing, so build it around one idea. A retro lunchbox with a tumbler inside is one idea. A retro lunchbox with a tumbler, a notebook, a sticker and a keychain is a pile.

The forecast is softest here. Retro looks come and go, and wellness is a category, not a trend. Order a small run first, see what gets used, and then scale the kit that earned it.

FAQ

Is recycled a real trend or just a word on a badge?

Both, depending on the product. The Clique Valhalla puffer's listing names GRS-certified recycled polyester and OEKO-TEX, and the Stanley bottles list recycled stainless steel. A spec line tells you more than a badge does.

Should we commit to a trend before the budget is set?

Pick one trend item for one program first, then decide the rest from the results. A packable jacket for the sales team or a kit for new hires is a smaller bet than a company-wide switch.

Are the name-brand bottles worth the premium?

That depends on whether the recipient keeps it. Ask whether they'll carry it for a year. If yes, the price line is easier to defend. If it's a one-day handout, buy the cheaper bottle.

What's the minimum on the drinkware?

The Stanley Quencher ProTour Tumbler 30oz is as low as $45.00/unit · min 24. The YETI® Rambler® 20 oz. Tumbler MagSlider™ Lid is as low as $40.65/unit · min 6. Check the minimum on each product page before you choose.

Where do the 2027 numbers come from?

There aren't any in this post. Everything here is a catalog item with its listed price, which you can check on the product page yourself.
